TCC Names New Provosts

Tulsa Community College names three new provosts. The new campus leaders include two individuals who have been promoted to their new roles and a third who was hired and will start June 2019.
Dr. Greg Stone has been named Tulsa Community College Southeast Campus Provost and will oversee TCC’s largest campus including the Schools of Science & Math, Liberal Arts & Communication, and Visual & Performing Arts. Most recently, he served as provost of the TCC Metro Campus.
His connection to TCC runs deep, first as a graduate and then as an adjunct and full-time faculty member as well as serving as faculty association president, faculty co-chair of TCC's Assurance Review process for reaffirmation of accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission from 2012-2014. Stone is a graduate of Tulsa Community College and completed his Ph.D. in English from the University of Tulsa.
Dr. Angela Sivadon has been named Tulsa Community College Metro Campus Provost and will oversee the Schools of Allied Health, Nursing, and Business & IT, including Corrections Education programming. Most recently, she served as Dean of the School of Nursing at TCC.
During her time with the college, Sivadon has served as an adjunct, full-time faculty, faculty association president, and co-chair of the Guided Pathways Council. Prior to joining the TCC team, she worked fourteen years as a cardiac nurse. She too is a graduate of TCC and earned her Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Sivadon currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association/Tulsa Chapter and has previously served as President of the Executive Board of Directors for Oklahomans for Equality.
Dr. Kristopher Copeland has been named Tulsa Community College West Campus Provost and will begin June 3, 2019. He will oversee Interdisciplinary Support for the College, including Institutional Research & Assessment, the Division of Engaged Learning (Freshman Seminar, Faculty Development and High Impact Practices) and Online Learning.
Copeland comes to TCC from his current role as Executive Dean of Liberal Arts at North Lake College in Irving, TX. Prior to his position at North Lake College, he served as a faculty member in the communications studies discipline for twelve years at Northeastern State University and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Dr. Copeland earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Higher Education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
