  3. TCC Student Shares Story of Resilience at Vision Dinner

    Sheann Stokes-Gilmore, known on campus as “BMC” (Blind Man Can), overcame a childhood in foster care, homelessness, addiction, and a traumatic injury that left him blind. He shared his story with nearly 400 guests at the TCC Foundation’s annual Vision Dinner to a standing ovation.

  4. TCC Student Becomes First Enhanced Air Traffic Control Graduate Hired by FAA

    TCC’s Rebecca Nobles became the first graduate of an Enhanced Air Traffic Control program in the United States to be hired directly by the Federal Aviation Administration. Nobles bypassed the traditional FAA Academy thanks to TCC’s participation in the FAA’s Enhanced Air Traffic–Collegiate Training Initiative.

  5. Graduate and 6-Year-Old Daughter Compete at TCC Robotics Event

    Students and hobbyists faced off in “Discovery Destruction,” a combat robotics tournament hosted by Tulsa Community Combat Robotics and Combat Robots of Oklahoma. Among the competitors was father-daughter duo, recent TCC graduate Kody Fimple and his 6-year-old daughter, Masyn.
