Dual Credit Tuition Waiver & Estimated Cost

TCC offers tuition waivers for high school students, covering up to 30 credit hours. Check with your high school counselor for details.

College courses have three types of charges: tuition, fees, and books or materials.

Dual Credit Tuition Waiver

TCC offers high school student tuition waivers for 30 college credit hours.

Dual Credit tuition waivers are automatically applied to high school student accounts by financial aid three weeks after the semester drop date. An application is not required.

Juniors: TCC will waive tuition via the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) and TCC junior tuition waiver program. By Oklahoma statute, each eligible Oklahoma high school junior who meets in-state tuition requirements shall be entitled to receive a tuition waiver equivalent to the amount of resident tuition for a maximum of 12 eligible credit hours in their junior year beginning June 1 following the tenth grade. The tuition waiver may be used in the summer, fall, or spring. We recommend that juniors use six hours in the fall and six in the spring semester. Check with your high school counselor for scheduling considerations. Students must follow the policy regulations, including graduation from high school in the spring of the 12th grade.

Seniors: TCC will waive tuition via the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) senior tuition waiver program. By Oklahoma statute, each eligible Oklahoma high school senior who meets in-state tuition requirements shall be entitled to receive a tuition waiver equivalent to the amount of resident tuition for a maximum of 18 eligible credit hours in their senior year beginning June 1 following the eleventh grade. The tuition waiver may be used in the summer, fall, or spring. Students must follow the policy regulations including graduation from high school in the spring of the 12th grade. Students who opt to graduate from high school early are not eligible for the senior tuition waiver.

Tuition Waiver Policy

Dual Credit tuition waivers are awarded for all eligible enrollments. All credit hours waived will be counted in the total tuition waiver limit including any grade entered on the transcript: W, AW, I, WN, or A – F grades. You are responsible for completing all college enrollment, course drops, course withdrawals, and payment. TCC Financial Aid awards Dual Credit tuition waivers after TCC admission has confirmed eligibility and the drop deadline has passed. Your bursar balance should reflect the disbursement by week four of the long semester. You may view your account balance in your MyTCC “Account” tab. For more information about Resident Classification, contact admission@tulsacc.edu or give them a call at 918-595-8000

Account Balance and Payment

To pay course fees and any tuition amount over the waiver limit, visit your MyTCC Account to access the student bursar account balance and pay by check or credit card. Additionally, you may pay by cash, check, or credit card at the Bursar Office located on our four campuses. Be sure to bring your photo ID. For additional questions, contact the Bursar at studentaccounts@tulsacc.edu.

Fees

All courses have state-mandated fees as well as various other fees depending on the type of course. For instance, lab science classes may have associated lab fees. See a complete listing of course fees.

Your high school may have a college fees assistance program. Ask your counselor to find out.
