Music Program Details
Master your art in a high-quality facility at the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education (PACE) on our Southeast Campus. Here, you can take advantage of professional rehearsal and performance spaces, a recording studio, and a music tech lab. Private lessons, ensemble participation, and internships provide students with real-world experience. Whether you're pursuing music professionally or just want to keep music in your life, TCC is a great place to be.

After successfully completing this program, you will have the ability to:
- Perform music from a variety of styles and historic periods.
- Communicate about music as it relates to cultural history, theory, and performance practice.
- Interpret music as experienced both as a performer and listener.
- Analyze musical structures from the common practice period through the early 20th century.
- Construct musical structures from the common practice period through the early 20th century.

As a TCC student, you can gain real performance experience by participating in one of our music ensembles. These groups rehearse and perform throughout the year, helping you grow as a musician, connect with other passionate artists, and build lasting friendships through shared creative experiences.
Ensemble openings are filled by audition and are open to all students—no matter your major.
