TCC’s Central Service Technician certification (CRCST) provides an overview of the process and develops fundamental concepts and principles necessary to participate successfully as an entry-level Central Sterile Processing Technician.
Focusing on the profession of central sterile processing, basic sciences and related subjects, infection control, aseptic technique, equipment management, sterilization, instrumentation and supplies, legal issues, inventory management, safety and quality assurance and health care trends. In addition to coursework, participants will engage in an 8-week clinical rotation applying technical knowledge from the classroom to real-world experience.
