EDGE: Earn a Degree, Graduate Early
Earn an associate degree at no cost.
The EDGE: Earn a Degree, Graduate Early Program gives you the opportunity to graduate high school with both an associate degree and a high school diploma, free of charge. Upon graduation, you will be well on your way to a bachelor’s degree two years ahead of your peers.
Be the first in your family to earn a college degree! Attend a preparatory high school year, get intensive advising and tutoring, and start college courses in the 10th grade. Students are immersed in college life and attend courses taught by TCC faculty.
Participating Schools
All 8th grade students in partnering school districts are invited to apply to the EDGE: Earn a Degree, Graduate Early Program. Partnering schools include Union Public Schools, Tulsa Public Schools, and Broken Arrow Public Schools. Contact your 8th grade principal for details.
Transferable Credits
All credits earned through the EDGE: Earn a Degree, Graduate Early Program are transferable to Oklahoma public colleges and universities, and private and regional institutions. Verify course requirements with your transfer institution. Our University Transfer page provides a great tool for you to map out your academic journey.
Cost
This program is free to all qualifying students. Tuition, textbooks, transportation and other fees are covered by TCC and partnering school districts.

Steps to Enroll in EDGE: Earn a Degree. Graduate Early
Step One: Apply for EDGE
Apply to your high school in the 8th grade.
Step Two: Complete the Preparatory Curriculum
Complete the ninth grade preparatory curriculum.
Step Three: Apply to TCC
Apply to TCC. Once you have completed the admissions application process, eligible applicants will be provided a T-Number. This process usually takes 5-7 days to complete.
Step Four: Meet with your high school counselor
After you have finished the admissions application process, meet with your high school counselor to discuss eligibility and course needs.
Step Five: Complete and submit your enrollment form
Complete the High School Student College Enrollment Form with student and parent signatures. Then, send your completed Enrollment Form, along with any ACT/SAT test scores, to your high school counselor. For more information refer to the Eligibility & Testing page.
Your high school counselor will send transcript, enrollment form, and test scores to TCC Enrollment Services.
Step Six: Verify your enrollment
You may verify your enrollment by viewing your schedule in MyTCC. Your schedule is located in MyTCC under My Account in the Enrollment & Registration Tools section.
If you are a first-time user you must change your password.
- On the MyTCC login page, select "change."
- Set up your MyTCC password in the Self-Service Account Manager.
