Request Emergency Funds

Unexpected things can happen in life. To alleviate the burden of unplanned expenses, the TCC Foundation has emergency funds available to help. If you have an emergency expense you can’t afford, and it’s keeping you from continuing your education, or causing problems at home, you may be eligible for an emergency grant.

Examples of covered expenses:

  • Essential living expenses
  • Child care
  • Utility bills
  • Medical
  • Auto repair
  • Other hardships
  • Textbooks or bills owed to TCC for one-time program-related expenses
  • Cell Phone

Be Considered For Emergency Funds

  1. Fill out the Emergency Funds Request Form.
  2. Provide documentation of the financial emergency.

The TCC Foundation has suspended applications, however, emergency grants funded through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) are available through Financial Aid. Spring applications will be available after February 14, 2022. Contact a financial aid counselor on any campus or get virtual financial aid help to see if you qualify. HEERF Emergency Grants are by application.

UPDATE: As of the end of the Summer 2022 semester, TCC will no longer have applications available for submission.
