GED Exams
The GED test provides an opportunity for individuals to earn the High School Equivalency Certificate. Included in the GED battery of tests are writing skills, social studies, science, interpreting literature and the arts, and mathematics.
TCC’s Northeast and Metro Campus Testing Centers offer the Computer Based GED.**

- Create an account: enter your email address and create a password
- Register to take the test: answer some questions
- Schedule to take the test: choose location, date, time and subject area/section
Fees for GED Testing
The cost is $34 per section (there are four sections) - each section may be taken separately, on whatever date and time you choose. Once you've created your account, the system will let you select a date and time. The fee is paid directly to GED/Pearson and not to TCC.
Age Release Form
If the GED candidate is 16 or 17 years of age, the Age Release Agreement Form must be completed (signed and notarized) by appropriate individuals and turned in to the Northeast or Metro Campus Testing Center before the candidate is eligible to register to take the GED.
