TRIO Programs
If you are the first in your family to go to college or fit other eligibility requirements, you may benefit from TRIO at Tulsa Community College (TCC).
About TRIO
The TRIO Programs are federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to a bachelor's degree and beyond.

TCC TRIO Programs
TCC offers two TRIO programs that are funded by the U.S. Department of Education:
The TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) program can provide you with counseling and information on college admissions—to TCC or another college or university. The program also provides services to improve the financial and economic literacy of participants. An important goal of the program is to counsel participants on financial aid options, including basic financial planning skills, and to assist in the college application process. The mission of the EOC program is to increase the number of adult participants who enroll in post-secondary education.
The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program provides students who have already been admitted to TCC with opportunities for academic development, assistance with basic college requirements and support while working toward the successful completion of their college degrees. The mission of TRIO SSS at TCC is to encourage student success and progress through college. The overall program goal is to increase the persistence, graduation and transfer rates of TRIO students.
