Tutoring Centers

The support provided by our professional staff in writing, reading, math, science, and languages is available not only for courses in those disciplines but for any course in which those skills may be required. Our tutors will work with you remotely or in person to provide with the highest quality instructional support you deserve.

Science and Mathematics Labs

Our Science and Mathematics Labs are designed to provide students with one-on-one tutoring for all levels of Math and most Science courses. No matter your home campus, you can receive the support you need.

The Science and Mathematics tutors can:

Writing Centers

TCC Writing Centers promote collaboration in all stages of the writing process. Our writing consultants can help you develop skills and strategies to become more independent, confident, critical thinkers, and effective communicators.

We can help you in areas such as:

  • Organizing and developing ideas
  • Understanding assignments
  • Writing across different genres, disciplines, and media platforms
  • Integrating research and citing sources in appropriate formats
  • Revising drafts
  • Understanding and using appropriate grammar, punctuation, and style

We collaborate with all types of professors, including those who teach English as a Second Language (ESL)in order to help you get the support you need.

Whether it's assignments for a course or personal writing projects like scholarship essays, cover letters, resumes, or appeal letters, we're here to help you at all four campuses.

In-Person Tutoring

We offer in-person writing tutoring on the four TCC campuses. All safety protocols, including social distancing and good hand and respiratory etiquette, will be required during these in-person sessions. The use of face coverings is still encouraged and remains highly recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated per CDC guidance.

World Language Labs

Tutoring for Accessibility Resource Students

Accessibility Resource Services has provided a deaf tutor to assist all students registered with their office. This tutor is available to work with students in many subject areas including English, Psychology, History, and Computer Concepts.

Need help with your calculus homework late on a Sunday night? Are you working all night on an essay for your history class and have a question that can’t wait until the next morning? You don’t have to wait for a tutoring center to open on campus the next day. Online students at Tulsa Community College now have an additional option for tutoring help after hours and on the weekends.

Tutur.com, a company that provides academically certified, live 24-7 support, offers tutoring in multiple subject areas to TCC’s online students. In most subjects, you can get one-on-one homework help in minutes. Prefer to make an appointment so you can plan questions and prepare for an assignment? Want to leave a question and come back later for your online tutor’s answer? No problem: they’re very flexible.
